An Investigation into the world of Cryptocurrency Paid Groups

An Investigation into the world of Cryptocurrency Paid Groups

Jacob also forwarded the group’s old data tracking sheet, which was internally compiled by the group. This was obviously not verifiable for the basis of this article, however this has been shown below for visual purposes.

Jacob went on to mention that the group are currently in the process of revising how demonstrate the backtesting of their previous trades, and this information was currently unavailable. (Backtesting is a critical part of developing an effective trading system. It is achieved by reconstructing, and using historical trade data, that would have been previously implemented by using a set of rules and defined by a given strategy. The result offers validation on the effectiveness of the selected strategy.)

To summarise, the call success of the group based on the verifiable, recent data is suggested to be around 6–7 out of 10 mark.

Call Frequency & Success Verdict = 7/10

Case Study Verdict / Conclusion

The setup of the “Signals Profit” paid group is professional. The group is possibly managed more like a business than many other paid groups structures, that are involved with cryptocurrency. With this in mind, the subscriber is definitely paying for this privilege, and with the level of free information out there (including Jacob’s free material on YouTube and Trading View), it is challenging to fully support a best price fee of $1,140 for a 6 month “block” and $2,280 for 12 months.

The group provides numerous learning resources and also has a support network setup that appears to act upon and answer queries in good time, (with references made on this made to the Discord element in particular).

For the subscriber, the primary focus of them making their subscription fee back, along with gaining a profit over and above this, is to follow the issued signals. It would really depend on the individual if this mechanism was correct for them. Although signals are being received to act upon, for newer people to this space, it is relatively opaque information without personal guidance. Rightly or wrongly, some newer people to cryptocurrency trading would rather follow another individual’s or group’s trading system for their own trades. This is probably in order to refine their own, due to fear of failure on their initial system. The education on this group is good, but I think it largely misses this niche topic.

To summarise the overall verdict, the group is professionally setup and appears legitimate in how they handle their work. The platform and setup appear to have had a significant investment into its formation, but for many people, their interest is being to be able to gain money and skills (such as learning to trading) for as little expense as possible. Although the platform and structure are well setup, the trading basis of signals (although supported by information and questions if needed) brings the final mark down in my opinion. I also think the “Investing” tab needs rethinking.

I think this platform could be improved with perhaps a section on the specific signals / trade for a Q&A. This would allow a thread to be formed from other subscriber queries and this could benefit the user. A revision to the “Investing” tab to include relevant advice on specific key time periods, would also make this a little less confusing.

There is a plethora of information on the platform and the group’s social media platforms, almost a little too much, and this is where it could be felt that the subscriber is having to cover the some of these costs.

Final thought, it is a good, informative platform, but it may be a little too much for some people.

Overall Verdict = 6.75/10

Finally, thank you to Jacob for allowing the limited access to the “Signal Profits” group for the benefit of the wider community.
