Computer engineers make or break modern companies. They are the architects and builders that scale ideas out of infancy and bring them to the world, but for those that dream of starting their own business, code isn’t good enough to ensure success. During his Terminal Tech Talk, serial entrepreneur Samuel Poirier will sit down with fellow Thiel Fellowship recipient Liam Horne to discuss what he’s learned from the ups-and-downs of his young, but impressive career of scaling and selling startups. Pulling from his boom to bust experience launching the first-ever bitcoin debit card, VR success story Retinad, and his current role at Seahub, Samuel will talk us through growth strategies and the key technical and non-technical decisions he’s made to set himself up for success.
