Tor Digital Privacy Project Now Accepts Donations in Cryptocurrency

Before now, donations are being in received via credit card or PayPal. However, for the simplicity and anonymous giving, firms or volunteering bodies are now accepting donations via cryptocurrency.

The latest firm to do that now is Tor digital privacy software.

The digital privacy software Tor, is now accepting donations in various digital currencies as they have now introduced digital asset tab on their project’s website.

The site now accepts nine major cryptocurrencies, namely Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dash (DASH), Litecoin (LTC), Stellar Lumen (XLM), Monero (XMR), Augur (REP) and Zcash (ZEC).

Tor’s crypto gift page urges clients to “go to bat for the general human rights to protection and opportunity and help keep Tor hearty and secure.” The page additionally determines that clients can contact the project on the off chance that they would want to give in a cryptocurrency not recorded there.

The Tor Project is a non-benefit that offers free and open-source programming made for onion routing, the technology of unknown data exchange. Furthermore, Tor has two authority forms of its program: Tor Browser and TorBro. The principle motivation behind utilizing the Tor Browser is to stay mysterious and circumnavigate oversight by masking an IP-address.
