📍Israeli regulator is planning to create a crypto-platform
The Israel Securities Authority (ISA), the country’s main securities regulator, has revived the expectations of the virtual currency industry in the country.
The regulator on March 6 recommended creating a platform that would allow individual users to trade , as well as allow companies to raise funds using digital .
The Executive Board reiterated that the proposal is a recommendation, and not a realistic, implementable policy.
📍The head of Twitter spends 10 thousand dollars to buy every week
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced that he was spending thousands of dollars a week buying in anticipation of significant changes in the market.
Mr. Dorsey is the founder and CEO of the mobile payment company Square, and also an active supporter of since 2017, but has never talked about his own assets before.
📍East Caribbean Central Bank will test its own
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) will launch a pilot project of digital banking currency (CBDC) as part of its preparation for full deployment as a means of payment by 2020.
The ECCB has made a deal with the Barbadian company Bitt, which will help in testing the state digital currency. Technical advice on the release of CBDC will be provided by Pinaka Consulting.
A digital version of the East Caribbean Dollar (XCD) will be released for testing, which will be distributed among the financial institutions of the East Caribbean Monetary Union (ECCU).
