Direct Debit phase 2
Direct debit is a great enhancement to the SmartSaver feature of the HelloGold app because it allows a customer to set-up his SmartSaver plan in just a few minutes and never have to think about it again. And while he forgets about it and is free to focus his mind on other matters requiring his attention, he saves in gold every weekday of the year, enjoying the best daily prices. Direct debit had only been made available to new SmartSaver so far. With the second phase of implementation, with existing SmartSaver plans are now able to switch their method of funding to direct debit, relieving them from the monthly routine task of having to fund their savings plan. Major enhancement on the way for HelloGold app in Thailand
The product and tech team is split in two at the moment, with one half working on some exciting new partnerships taking shape in Malaysia, and which will come to light in the coming months, while the other half focuses on the Thai app.
The cumbersome top-up payment process we have launched within Thailand is set to soon be a thing of the past. Integration of a new payment service system is underway, and once complete the user experience will be greatly enhanced. Aside from this and other enhancements for the Thai app- such as the referral function and copy improvements — a lot of energy is being dedicated to bringing the iOS version of the app to the Thai market. Most features have already been tested, and the team is hoping to start launch soon.
