On tonight’s episode of “The Crypto Show,” we talk with Jonathan Mohan about the subject matter of an article-in-progress that he is writing.Jonathan compares the crypto-world to Catholicism vs. denominationalism, about those who believe that bitcoin and other cryptos should be run by a benevolent dictator and those who believe they should be decentralized. He asserts that differences and debates within crypto don’t boil down to questions of fact, but to fundamental philosophical issues that primarily involve “descriptive ‘shoulds'” vs. “moral ‘shoulds'”, and their frequent confusion. He makes a subtle but compelling argument.
