Are you ready to get started on OpenLedger ?
It’s really simple.
Let me show you how…
First, point your web browser to openledger.info
Click the “Enter Exchange” button, here.
Choose an account name.
And enter your password.
Twice.
Now click on “create account”
That’s it ! Welcome to the blockchain !
Ok, now it’s time to backup your wallet. That way you can keep a copy for safekeeping.
Click on the “backup required” link down here.
Now click on the “create backup” button…. and download. Look for the wallet file ending in .bin that just appeared in your downloads folder.
We suggest you keep a copy on a flash drive and one in your favorite cloud storage service.
The backup is encrypted, so make sure to memorize that password !
Remember, you need to import this file every time you use a new device or browser or if you delete your private data.
For security reasons, OpenLedger doesn’t store private keys.
