Torcoin is a hybrid digital currency employing the X11 hashing algorithm with the Proof-Of-Work consensus, transitioning to Proof-Of-Stake after 2 years. The coin offers full Tor integration with the Tor Onion system. Stealth addresses are available for the anonymous sending of the coin via the network. Besides, encrypted messsaging is also available which allows users to send encrypted messages to other Torcoin members. There are apprximately 12 million TOR generated prior to finishing the Proof-Of-Work phase and starting Proof-Of-Stake. During the Proof-of-Stake phase, for the purposes of 5% staking per year, small emissions of coins will be published each year. Torcoin has a block time of 60 seconds. The Block Reward schedule is set to halve every six months from the beginning with a reward of 1 TOR per block.
