I've noticed this for a while and I think you have too. Clickbait news which ponder to the sentiment of this site are being spammed here frequently, by bots probably.
Examples:
Site cryptoleak.io posted mostly by /u/siliconvalleyvip
Site samcrypto.com posted mostly by /u/HisAlternative
Site jamescrypto.com posted mostly by /u/freq-ee
etc etc
Then there are countles .wordpress.website sites which the only value they have is to post news which this sub loves, like "How bitcoin can be 100K in 2 YEARS! How the BANKS are gonna COLLAPSE and crypto will win!!"
Just recently there were 2 articles on the frontpage from shitty sites which said "Bank of China admits fiat will die in 5 years!" A stupid headline, clickbait title, completely ridiculous statement, but upvoted to the front page
Now there's nothing with promoting your site, but I think mods should make a list of reputable news sources which will be allowed.
