News and updates from the district0x Network

Community updates from this past week:

• We disabled the tipbot in Discord and are currently in the process of migrating DNT balances to a new hosted solution called Discordtip. This bot is very similar to the ParJar tipbot we currently have in Telegram. We encourage everyone to try them both out and provide feedback on your experience.
• We had our first Ambassador call in Discord. We appreciate the time and feedback from our ambassadors. We will be making these calls a recurring public event going forward. Here’s the countdown to the next one.
• To keep the conversations of high quality, new community members will not be able to speak in the voice calls until they have reached level 1 in Discord. However anyone will be able to join and listen. For a list of community events and to see when the next call is, please see the community calendar.
• We have been doing outreach to communities and projects focused on Memes and similar creative content. Feel free to join Discord if you have suggestions for other communities you think we should reach out to in anticipation of the Meme Factory launch. We have covered most of Reddit, so please keep suggestions focused elsewhere.
• Finally, in anticipation of a community growth campaign, we have added an invite tracking bot to Discord. If you invite someone to Discord using a link you generated, it will be tracked in Discord. We encourage you to keep using the same link because we will be able to see a running tally of everyone who has used your link. We will announce our community growth strategy using this bot and other initiatives in the coming weeks. In the mean time, please generate some links and go invite your friends to learn more about our community and project!

Additionally this past week we released our bi-weekly Dev Update, detailing updates on the DANK Faucet, Meme Factory notification system, and other minute details that can all be tracked on the Meme Factory GitHub page.
