The best way to play the lottery is coming. Our first game will be launched in a few months. We are very excited about it, and we are sure that the 30 thousand people that follow us on our various social media channels are excited too.
When we choose to start Cryptomillions, besides it being cool to start up a company based in the newest technology that will change the world, we had one critical point in mind: make the lottery system better. So we listed some of the key aspects, we as users, would like to improve. The list is not long, but we feel these improvements will generate a better user experience.
A couple of the items on that list that we addressed are the risk of having printed tickets and having unclaimed prizes for tickets that have a deadline. Considering that we are living in the era of autonomous cars, first tourist trip to space, Artificial Intelligence, etc. the mere idea of having something printed seems to take me back a decade ago (at least) when you usually printed out everything from airplane tickets to emails. Now printing should be done only in certain circumstances, and certainly shouldn’t be for bearer lottery tickets with deadlines on them.
We solved the problem by having digital tickets registered on the and by having push notifications to let you know if you are a winner. If you are, then we will automatically credit the payout into your account. No more lost tickets and no more deadlines to be concerned about.
We could continue with the list and how we will improve the offering to a refreshed version and one to serve this generation and generations to come in a fully transparent and automated way. But the point is clear, the old offering is not working well, so we fixed it!
Please read the following article and draw your own conclusions. Feel free to contact us or to share similar experiences with us. This will help us to enrich our archive. (Please also refer to some of our previous publications.)
This might be a bit old, but the relevance to our model is the underlying structure of the old offering, and what can happen. Once you read the article, you will find a lot more things we have solved! The article also talks about transparency: Why do funds go back to state lotteries? What do they do with it? Do they donate it to education? If so to which schools? Are students the beneficiaries? I could go on and on, but I’ll just add one extra note: the odds of winning are astronomically against players (obviously we do have a solution for that too) odds are so high that it’s more likely for a regular guy to get bitten by a shark while having a beer at the beach!
Remember, we are here to transform the old system — join us and be part of the solution!
