Steve Jurvetson giving a talk at Block2theFuture
Last week Swytch attended in Oakland. It was a great event that took place on the U.S.S. Hornet, a retired aircraft carrier. Swytch adviser Steve Jurvetson was a featured speaker at the conference, and he held court on a range of subjects, which of course included renewable energy and the solutions to pressing problems that blockchain companies are coming up with. CEO Evan Caron gave a well-received talk about Swytch and renewable energy on the blockchain, and also was able to meet with a large number of potential partners and other interested parties. We should be announcing a very strong addition to our advisory board within the next week or so.
Evan’s thoughts on B2F:
Block2the Future was a great event and space to meet and network on the USS hornet, by far the most interesting venue for a conference. What was at one point in time state of the art is now a historical museum and reminds us of a history of innovation. Steve Jurvetson’s speech on the future of AI and blockchain was also a big highlight.

Swytch was selected to compete at the World Tokenomic Forumon Grand Cayman. With a field that’s been narrowed down to just 16 companies from an initial 137 challengers from 17 different countries, Swytch is excited to progress to this next round and compete for the final prize. The competition will be on May 9th, and the potential prizes will total up to over $250,000 in advisory work and development services.
Swytch has been invited to speak at the conference in Chicago. Is there a more fitting conference for a metropolis billed as ‘The Windy City’? We’re going to be using this conference, held May 7–10, to talk to installers, producers, and designers in the Wind Power industry and build additional partnerships.
Multi-lingual publications have now been enabled. If you visit the section of our website, you can now find updated translations of our white paper in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. In addition, we’ve added subtitles to the video of Steve Jurvetson talking about Swytch during SXSW 2018 in Austin. Here are the , , and versions.
