Join Han Feung, Vice President of Strategy Planning at Huawei, Alex Kim of SkyPath Capital and Leo Chen, Managing Director and Head of Asia at Calastone for an in-depth discussion on start-ups, innovation and funding. These three experts will highlight what it takes to go from bootstrapping to Series B funding, and discuss the current startup and innovation ecosystem. This session will be led by Tony Low, Co-Founder of Hong Kong's latest traveltech company, Hey Travelista, who has over 12 years of experience in running and growing Asia Pacific businesses. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS Han Feung, Vice President of Strategy Planning, Huawei  Han Feung is focused on improving the company's ability to innovate and drive growth in a highly competitive and dynamic industry. He has led efforts to drive open innovation and business model transformation. Before Hong Kong, Han spent ten years in Korea at Samsung in strategy, product innovation, and marketing roles. Originally from the US, Han has worked in Silicon Valley, New York, Chicago and Atlanta in roles including audit, engineering and venture capital. Alex Kim, Partner at SkyPath Capital Alex Kim is a partner at SkyPath Capital, an innovation focused strategy, advisory and private investment firm focused on funding for technology and technology-enabled industries including artificial intelligence, blockchain and healthtech. Before SkyPath, Alex's background include advising leading technology focused companies in Asia at McKinsey & Company, leading cleantech investments at Eversant Corporation, negotiating business development deals for 101 Fab, a semiconductor focused software company, investing in venture capital tech investments at First Analysis Venture Capital and The Productivity Funds, and raising funding for telecom, technology and specialty finance companies at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Alex has a BS in Commerce from University of Virginia and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Leo Chen, Managing Director & Head of Asia at CalastoneLeo leads Calastone’s Asian business, based in Hong Kong. Prior to his appointment as regional MD in 2016, Leo headed the Calastone sales and relationship team for Asia, covering several markets including Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.Leo has over 18 years of experience across the financial services industry, culminating in his role as Principal Consultant with Morse Consulting Asia immediately prior to joining Calastone in January 2012.Leo has held a number of senior roles in his career, including with Commonwealth Private Bank (Hong Kong) and Ping An of China (China and Hong Kong).  His experience includes Operations, Systems and Business process re-engineering for front, middle and back offices in the funds management industry. Tony Low, Co-Founder of Hey Travelista  Tony is a hands-on global executive with real experience in digital transformation.  He has a background in technology, a head for business and a passion for growing companies.  As an Australian born Chinese, Tony speaks native English and fluent Mandarin Chinese. Tony has been running and growing Asia Pacific business for over 12 years (since 2006) for mega- companies like IBM as well as smaller growth stage PE held companies like TradeCard/GT Nexus.  He has managed over 550 staff across Asia Pacific and owned portfolios of businesses worth in excess of USD300M. Before being an AP Managing Director, Tony spent 6 years running IT networking services business for IBM Asia Pacific including Head of Product and Head of Alliances, as well as commencing the IBM Huawei Alliance in China.  Prior to this, Tony cut his teeth implementing, delivering and selling ERP/SAP/CRM solutions for 11 year all over the world.  He has lived and worked in Australia, USA, Japan, Taiwan, UK, Macau, China and Hong Kong.  This has given him a truly international perspective and ability to work with people from all walks of life. Tony holds a Masters of Business and Technology (Australian Graduate School of Mgmt), a Graduate Certificate in Personnel Management (Sydney Institute of Technology) and a B. Science – Computing Science, Management and International Marketing (University of Technology, Sydney). Currently he is the co-founder of Hey Travelista – Hong Kong’s newest traveltech company.  He is leading the growth in membership base and driving the technology build out.
