Here is my latest field video about rubies from Montepuez in Mozambique. It was done after our recent visit in July 2017. We continued to follow the evolution of the mine at MRM Gemfields, showing this time the “Maninge Nice” ruby producing area and the CSR program that MRM built to support the local communities.
Besides Gemfields we also visited the 2 new mining companies who started exploration nearby: “Mustang Resources” and “Mozambique rubies”, they are at a much early stage compared to MRM, but nevertheless it was interesting to see what they did and how they worked.
