His passion for financial markets began at the age of 12 when he executed his first trade on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), which lead to a career in the financial sector. After receiving a first class (Hons) finance degree from a London university, Joe continued his career in Australia and was recognised as a Top 10 global performer for Robert Half International (NYSE: RHI), a $US7 billion global financial and executive consulting firm. He discovered bitcoin in 2014 and became obsessed with the technology and how it is changing the global financial landscape. Joe is now focused on his cryptocurrency consulting and contributing to the global adoption of cryptocurrency and the underlying blockchain technology. Danny Hakim, Co-Founder & CEO – Quanterium Danny and his two co-founders launched Quanterium, a Digital Asset trading platform which blends centralised and decentralised technology. The platform facilitates peer to peer OTC trading in a standardised and compliant way, leveraging blockchain to mitigate risk (namely in trade settlement). Prior to launching Quanterium in 2018 he spent two years at JP Morgan in Prime Brokerage and also spent a year in Equity Derivatives at Mitsubishi Bank. Danny holds an MSc from Imperial College Business School in Financial Engineering and a BEng from UCL & LSE (joint degree) in Mechanical Engineering and Finance.
