Well, I guess I (or someone) should try with a private key with bitcoins on it. According to their (blog) post, when it’s an empty private key (0BTC) it does an import. When there are bitcoins on it, you can choose import or sweep. But it’s not very clear in the wallet itself.
When I imported a funded address, there was no option to sweep it. Well I was using the app, I am not sure with the PC/browse version if it is the same. Actually I don’t like blockchain.info, as is actually hard to login as you don’t have a unique username and have to verify you identity via email every time. If you are just looking to use an online wallet, better just use coinbase, it’s easier to use and they have no fees when sending out transactions.
