Yes it is very much possible, Actually, in all country this things was also happened to their place. but most of the time now bitcoin is being use to this type of illegal transaction, because maybe others know that bitcoin was not 100% anonymous, instead, bitcoin was pseudonymous. Though, bitcoin is not designed for illegal activities purposes.
It seems to me that you are mistaken. In order to use bitcoin in illegal activities you still have to exchange it into local currency. From now on, no privacy for the criminal no. So it seems to me that the stories of complete privacy online is a myth.
You are wrong, there fore to show you how many users don’t know anything about the dark side of the bitcoin even though they use it every day, there is a part of the internet that normal people don’t use and can’t access via normal browsers and that is the dark net.
It is mostly used for all sort of illegal stuff, anything bad that you can think off is available for purchase there and what they use is not regular money, they use bitcoin so they can hide their tracks between the animality of the internet and the normal bitcoin transactions.
