yes that is not such an easy job to know about the next pump in advance i think i present time there is alot of commotion in the market of bitcoin and i do not know about the next pump. i am hopeful that very soon the market of bitcoin will become stable.
I don’t see the market getting stable anytime soon. BTC has been growing way too fast for it to be financially stable. Also, there are way to many people just pumping and waiting for the dump. Although I do believe that BTC is the right coin, and will reach a stable market in the near future (maybe 2-3years?).
To answer the thread question : the only way to know, is to constantly look at active graphs, forums, and news sites. Coindesk is good start to get more insight.
