I use blockchain.info to store them and I use paper wallets for longer term. I do try some other wallets at times but I dont feel a need to use them since I like blockchain.info If I had many bitcoins then I would only trust a full qt wallet with serious amounts like that. For quick transactions online ones are far and you can’t walk around running a full wallet on your phone xP
Blockchain.info should be secure enough for most people since you are in control of your own private keys, as opposed to coinbase and other online bitcoin wallet providers, which do not allow you access to the private keys.
This completely eliminates the risk of fractional reserve.
However if you have a really big amount, offline storage is still favourable as block chain.info is still operated online.
