Why should I use any excuses to gamble?! Im a grown-up person and I can do whatever I decide with my own money. Everything is OK if its a reasonable boundaries. And many stuff should be considered as gambling as well.
yeah but the problem are op asking for specific case when you gamble push the limit and force yourself to use a ‘hot’ money as you have something to pay soon. gambling in that situation always be a shortcut option to solve the problem. but instead your problem get solved it’s just getting worse most of the times.
I think OP is asking if we had an experience where we crossed the border and use the money that is not our to fill our needs to gamble.
Honestly I almost do that, where I was tempted to use the money to bet on some game. But luckily the idea of being shamed due to my act stop me from doing it. After realizing, I rushed to go home and give the money to my mum.
