A couple of additional questions:
1) How new coins are created? I was under impression that all $GBYTE coins are already created and now devs are distributing it, keeping 1% for themselves
2) Who collects the transaction fees?

2) Mainly the witnesses, the full nodes also collect some, but it’s way less than what the witnesses, get which is still not that much .
