For the top 60 on the leaderboard, they are counting per hour, not per day.
So you just need to hard work in that hour than you should able to reach Top 60
(of coz joining a pool is much more easier than working by yourself only)

To reach top 60 you need around 2300 claims, that is impossible to make in one hour, since the claims are accumulating from previous hours   you can reach top 60 within one day, but you need a lot more then one hour of work.
I often not work constantly… usually I work for some time (half an hour or sometimes just few minutes) and then go to do something else, then continue with claims later when get spare time.
