I sent some bits to Polo but the tx didn’t confirm  

wallet syncs and stakes ok so don’t know why it doesn’t send

any advice much appreciated

Check your latest blockhash and compere that to bits blockexplorers hash.

The wallet is fully synced – i.e. shows the right block height.

Is that what you mean by ‘blockhash’?

here are the tx details:

The tx returns ‘no results’ in the block explorer

[edit] started staking and immediately the above tx started getting confirmations – go figure!]

Here is latest block with hash:

1829860 : 0ad712ce7e202054893cbfc40556e9ed4e42afa5cc7b5d30137fd03c503ef097

Go your wallet debug window and type to console:
getblockhash 1829860

Now you should receive hash of that block and if it doesnt match with what i have posted here you are on fork and need to sync your wallet with latest bootstrap file.
