the guide uses the inbuilt functionality of the wallet,
so it will auto create the file masternode.conf
addrlocal is yr wallet ip address.
it might work ok without it. i’ve never tested.
but ..
if you dont have the line then it seems you’re not doing it right 
this is the relevant bit ..
i’ve modified it slightly hopefully for a tad more clarity
to get your address:port
go to debug console and enter
“getpeerinfo”
