Yeah, i wouldn’t be surprised if the price recovers to a level that is over $1,100 and we establish that as the floor in the near future. Although bitcoin has crashed in recent days to $900, that was quickly brought back to a $1000+ level which is respectable if you look over the history of bitcoin.

But amidst all the speculation with the fork, there is no real pushing force against price rises.

I would hedge against the bitcoin price, just to be safe.

A good idea to sell a percentage of your total bitcoin balance for altcoins/fiat currencies before the fork happens.

I agree with you. It just proved that bitcoin was strong and it is a good idea to sell a percentage of your total bitcoin balance for altcoins/fiat currencies before the fork happens just to be safe but I wouldn’t sell that big of a percent since I know even if the fork happens, we will get both old bitcoin and bitcoin on the hardfork’s chain so there’s nothing to worry about at all. The only thing I am worried though is the price of bitcoin after the fork if it really will happen.
