Well the first round of thr playoffs would most likely be a give away for the top teams in each conference. I don’t see any 7th and 8th team upsetting either gsw and sas or cleveland and boston. The exciting matches would be the middle teams
Maybe in Eastern Conference but not in the Western Conference as Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies are not an average team especially if they will placed on the Eastern Conference.
Memphis Grizzlies have an inner play that can wrecked the top teams and they proven that in the past playoffs and even every season. Likely they will faced again the top 2 seed in the West which is the San Antonio Spurs for the fourth time. For the record and some trivia here, Memphis Grizzlies was top 8 seed last 2010-2011 NBA season but managed to win against the top seed San Antonio Spurs via 4-2 and advanced to second round but lost to Oklahoma City Thunders to 3-4 which is very close. That playoffs will be remarkable to them if they advanced to finals eventough they are in the lowest seed.
We can’t really say what will happen to those team in the lower seed as sometimes they are exploding especially in Playoffs where records will start at 0-0 W/L.
