Similar to linkedin, ties.network is a social network with the ability to rate and review people you have worked with and also make the payment through the platform. The ties.db provides a database that supports the volume and read/write/update functionality such a decentralised application requires which currently is not available in solutions on the market today such as Bigchain.db
