Today 2 years have passed since we started working with IOHK on Cardano. We recently parted our ways, which happened so peacefully and silently that you probably didn’t notice it. Although we have stopped working on the project directly, our love for Cardano is not extinguished. We are ready to move on.
The way we position ourselves, our future role in Cardano will be to build the infrastructure. All great technologies have only become popular when a great use for them has been found. And even though the development has been a bit passive, the great use for Cardano is right around the corner, we feel it, and want to help to find it.
This means that we have quite a few things in the store for Cardano. We will not reveal all of our projects right now, because that wouldn’t really be interesting, but we will reveal one — a gift to Cardano community for our time together. We will run a staking pool for Cardano, Hephaestus.
Hephaestus was the Greek god of fire, the god of inventors and artisans. This is exactly what we need in Cardano right now, the fire of creativity and the people who can use it. If you decide to record an interview with the blogger, then you need to carefully prepare. First, prepare the blogger, secondly — a technical part, and most importantly — to prepare a speaker.
How to prepare a blogger?
️ Give all the details on the project and key messages to the blogger — shortly the most important thing that brings your project to this world.️ Give him links to 2–3 publications about you. But not the ones you wrote yourself, but the coolest ones — for example, in Forbes or Huffpost.️ Give the blogger a press-portrait of the speaker, tell us how tough he is and not just him, but the whole team in general.️ Speak with the blogger — tell him an inspirational story and attach it to your project.️ Ask to prepare and send you questions in advance. But you do not need to remove anything. The blogger is interested in making the video high-quality and interesting — He needs to keep and increase his fan base. However, you are still on different sides, since interesting and appealing content are important for him, in the first place. And you usually do not need uncomfortable questions. But if some questions have arisen, then it is better to answer them now, since they will probably come up again and again, and you can prepare for the interview and turn the situation in your favor.Now, lets talk about the technical side of preparing the interview.
What does it mean to prepare technically?
Since most often you are in the same city, the blogger in another, and the speaker in general in the third, then the interview is recorded using Skype, Google Hangouts or a similar service. To make the recording go smoothly and your speaker look perfect, you do not need much, but any detail can have a deciding factor.
️ Pick the room. This can be a conversation in your office, and coworking, even just an apartment. The main thing is that the room is quiet — and the sound is smooth and nothing distracts the speaker.️ Check how the wall looks behind the speaker. The open-space looks nice in the background, but something cooler, connected with the project, will happen. As an option — it could be a video of your ICO or just an open page of your landing with, for example, running a countdown before the start of a token.️ Be sure to train the speaker to switch the screen from the entire face to the monitor — the speaker’s face is boring, so in the process you need to show something else — for example, a site or specially prepared slides.️ Buy, rent, take a good headset from friends. First, it’s beautiful, and secondly, pure sound is almost a guarantee that you will be listened to and heard.How to prepare a speaker?
In our opinion, the most important thing for a speaker is expertise, confidence, charm and passion. Usually all this is in the CEO’s projects, but that’s not all. Do you know how many hours Steve Jobs prepared for his speeches? They say he “rehearsed without end”. For our concentrated projects, this, of course, is a great luxury, but 1–2 hours of preparation can pay off a hundredfold.
What do you need to rehearse?
️ Before starting to rehearse, introduce the speaker in absentia with the blogger — show him the best programs of the channel (1–2, no more), tell about the blogger (briefly, most importantly — some special merits, or forbidden words or maybe he has something in common with your speaker — a passion for diving, serials or single malt whiskey).If possible, pre-arrange a training call for the blogger and the speaker. First, it will allow to check up working capacity of all systems and to minimize probability of failure. Secondly, having passed the procedure once, having become acquainted with the blogger and having established contact with him, the speaker will feel much more confident and will be able to invest all his energy and passion in the story of the project 🙂
What to say?
The speaker should not speak too quickly or too slowly. More often, but to the place, smile. In general, one should try to speak “while smiling” — so the voice sounds more sonorous and more contagious, such a voice you want to listen to.
What should I say?
In a short interview (maximum 10 minutes), you need to contain all the information that can attract investors and interest them to invest more — the most important thing to say at the beginning and repeat at the end. We have identified the key points by which you can test your speech during the rehearsal:

In the NEO DevCon which took place on 30–31st, Jan 2018 in San Francisco, there were NEO and lots of NEP-5 token projects to present about their products. Trinity Network Credit a.k.a NEO’s scalability solution is one of the most promising NEP-5 tokens I consider. Therefore, I'll drop a short article about it today.
What is Trinity Network Credit?
TNC, Trinity Network Credit, is an off-chain scaling solution for NEO.
But why we need that in the first place? The NEO blockchain is currently able to process transactions at a speed of close to 1,000 tx per second without any major problems. Then why TNC?
Now. Yes Now, is fine. Yet we need to look at the future. 1,000 tx/s is not gonna enough to turn NEO into a global project. FYI, VISA can handle on average around 1,700 transactions per second. And that is just in payment area, not to mention there are more dApps being developed on NEO blockchain in other fields like computation power or DEX. So if there is one thing that we have learned from the Ethereum transaction history, it is that scaling limitations can present themselves quickly.
So how can TNC help?
It uses a technology concept called state channel network.While NEO blockchain is like the main tunnel, state channels are like subordinary paths. Those paths are used to process the computing transactions instead of doing that on the main road. And those transactions would be recorded into the main blockchain ultimately. That concept should vastly increase economic traffic for the whole NEO network
In the details, they have 3 channels for each purpose: peer-to-peer transactions(SCL), business ones(CNL) and other value-added services (CSL) — illustrated as above.
For example, in the SCL, Trinity network users can set up a private channel off of the NEO blockchain and create a new unique link (channel) through which you can send or receive TNC tokens from your peer.
Development progress
On March 16, 2018, David Li, the Founder of Trinity Protocol, made a presentation at NEO APAC tour in South Korea, in which he discussed the development of a Non Fungible Token (NFT) standard. (More detail here: )
On March 24, 2018, at the Berlin meet up, Trinity Protocol has revealed the Trinity Token (TNC) cross-chain asset converter. The TNC cross-chain converter provides a conversion service between NEO NEP-5 tokens and Ethereum ERC-20 tokens. Here's how it works:
Send NEP-5 tokens to conversion address on NEO MainNet, with the recipient’s ETH address attached.NEP-5 tokens will be locked by the NEO conversion address, and ERC-20 tokens are released .An equal amount of ERC-20 tokens will be sent to the users wallet via Ethereum conversion smart contract.
On March 28, 2018, Trinity launched a beta version of Trinity on NEO allowing users to set up nodes and implement basic functions such as instant transfer based on state channels.
Currently, in the even of the decentralized exchange SwitcheoNetwork mainnet launch, TNC is one of the first NEP-5 token to be listed on this exchange.
Soon, The Trinity Loyalty Reward Initiative will be launched to provide an opportunity for TNC holders to lock their tokens in a contract, and receive bonuses at a later date when they’re able to be unlocked. The concept is like a way to have a saving account in your bank.
Trinity Community Contributor Incentive Program
On February 9, 2018, Trinity team announced the launch of the Trinity Community Contributor Incentive Program (TCCIP). The role is to widen and strengthen the Trinity community, spread the words about the project, raise people's awareness. There are many types of contributions you can participate in: promotion of the project on social media, administration of Telegram and social media groups, and creation of content such as blogs, articles or videos.
