Our initial Advisory Board will be made up of the following members. Their main purpose is to provide qualified technical guidance to the members of the mutual as well as enact emergency functions should they be required.
Advisory Board members do have special powers in limited circumstances (see ) however the members can decide to replace them if they see fit.
Hugh Karp is an insurance professional and actuary with 15 years of experience in a broad range of insurance and reinsurance roles. He was CFO of UK Life operations for a global reinsurer. Hugh is the Founder and CEO of Nexus Mutual and has been a enthusiast since 2011.
Ish Goel is the CEO and key architect at Somish Solutions. He has overseen the development of several MVPs. He established the ‘ Centre of Excellence’ at Somish in 2016. He has worked with Government, Real Estate, BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail, Agriculture and Logistics industry over the past decade.
Nitika Arora is a full stack developer, lead technology architect and CTO at Somish Solutions. She likes to focus on technology design, enterprise scalability and security. Nitika is currently the team lead for based projects.
Graeme Thurgood is a director at GT Consultancy and was previously a director at Regis Mutual Management. He has 15 years’ underwriting experience and worked at AVIVA as Strategic Initiatives Manager. He was previously part of the team that built the Corporate and Speciality Risks’ European Property Investors business.
Nick Munoz-McDonald is the co-founder of G0 group; a security collective. He is on the council of Melon Technical as Vice Chair and was Head of Audits at Solidified. Nick is the winner of a variety of smart contract bug bounties and is mentor to a successful robotics team in an international robotics programming competition run by MIT and NASA.
