Each month Christians send a monthly pre-determined amount to CHM and that money is sent to members with medical need.
HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY?…
There are 3 levels of participation, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. We are Gold level members. Our family pays $150/month per member with a maximum of $450/month/family. http://www.chministries.org/default.aspx?mem=143250
WHEN YOU HAVE A MEDICAL INCIDENT…
Gold-level members have an initial personal responsibility of $500/medical incident. (Usually members DO NOT have to pay $500 because CHM encourages members to ask for a reduction in their bill. Any reduction comes out of your personal responsibility amount. THIS IS WHY I PAYED $0 FOR MY HOSPITAL VISIT.)

Qualified bills relating to an illness/injury may include bills related to office visits, lab work AND hospital visits.
