kroger floor detailed copy10
This is a texture map. It is part of a set. The other bitmaps in the set were, and can be used as elements for making similar textures to fit your own requirements. For instance, you can use them in photoshop or probably other programs, to make a set of tiles with all the detail you see here, but a different color scheme. The monochrome streaks texturing can be remapped to other colors thus creating a wood pattern.
These elements can also be combined in different ways to make bump maps, or as masks in the material editor of a 3D program to combine different procedural patterns.
These tiles were inspired by the actual tiling I observed on the floor of my local grocery store the other day.
This set of textures is released under the creative commons license. I want to place as few restrictions on its use as possible, but if I see this in a movie or a video game, commercial products generally then I’d better see my name in the credits too.
The organizr isn’t letting me change the license type right now, but I think I’ve made my intentions plain.
Like it? Would send me some bitcoin as a tip?
