Intro to Blockchain
What is blockchain technology? How do smart contracts work? What are some legal issues surrounding blockchain? Join us for a lecture by Ali Axam (Senior Blockchain Developer and Research Assistant at King's College London) to learn more about distributed ledgers, cryptocurrencies, block structure, consensus protocols and so much more. The event is ideal for anyone who wants to gain a basic understanding of blockchain technology, the topics surrounding it, and its legal implications. This will also be a great foundation for those of you who wish to join us in the future for our other events that revolve around blockchain technology. Location: TBA Doors will open at 18:00 and the event will start at 18:30. *Please note: This event is open to the public. As usual, seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis; however, KIIPS Members are given priority. There is no dress code for this event.
