Q. Am I able to vote if I hold my ZRX on a centralized exchange / custodial ?
A. No — in order to vote, you must have custody of ZRX on a or a compatible Web 3 , such as or .
Q. Am I able to vote if I hold my ZRX on a non-Ledger / non-Web3 , such as Metamask or Wallet?
A. No — in order to vote, you must transfer your ZRX to a or a compatible Web 3 , such as or .
Q. Can I vote with a address that contains 0 ZRX ?
A. You can technically associate a address to the voting event regardless of whether it holds any ZRX. However, only addresses holding ZRX at the end of the voting period will have its votes registered.
Q. Can I use a partial amount of the ZRX that I hold in my address to vote?
A. Partial ZRX voting from one address is currently not supported. When associating a address to the voting event, you will be voting with all of the ZRX that is held in that address when the snapshot is taken at the end of the voting period.
Q. Am I able to vote for a different outcome after I’ve already submitted?
A. Yes — all you have to do is go through the voting process again using the same and address holding your ZRX, selecting the outcome desired. You can repeat this process as many times as you want within the voting period; only the last submitted vote will be recorded.
Q. Am I able to cancel my votes after I’ve already submitted?
A. While the cancellation of votes submitted is not currently supported within the voting interface, you can manually cancel your votes by moving all of the ZRX held in the address used to vote to a different location.
Q. What happens if I remove ZRX from the address that I voted from prior to the end of the voting period? Will all of my votes still be counted?
A. No — in order for all of your votes to be counted, you must retain all of the ZRX in the address that you originally voted with. Once the voting period official ends and the snapshot is taken, you are free to move your ZRX without losing your votes.
Q. What happens if I add ZRX to the address that I voted from prior to the end of the voting period? Will all of the additional votes be counted?
A. Yes — any ZRX added to your that is recorded during the snapshot will be counted as additional votes.
Q. Are members of the 0x Core Team voting on ZEIP-23?
A. 0x Core Team members are allowed to participate in the vote if they choose to. However, the allocated directly to ZeroEx Intl. are restricted from voting on this proposal.
Q. Does it cost any gas to vote?
A. Voting is free and does not require you to have any gas in the address that you vote with.
Q. Can I use the same address(es) that I use for the ZEIP-23 vote for future voting events?
A. Yes — all voting events are independent of one another and addresses can be associated once per event.
