Today I cover Flixxo (FLIXX).
Flixxo platform is trying to create a decentralized video distribution network, where users will be the owners and beneficiaries of their content.
Flixx is Flixxo’s token. It is used by users to watch videos, by producers to monetize their work and by advertisers to pay for people watching the ads. Then advertisers need to buy Flixx from content producers, creating a complete token economy.
It is esentially decentralised Youtube which is great because Youtube creators struggle due to decreasing ad revenue and increased censorship.
