The value of IoT is related to not only the amount of data being captured but also the quality of that data being captured across a vast range of connected devices. Stakeholders use the data to make informed decisions about actions to take, or in some cases, these are done automatically. Therefore, there is a concern about the potential security issues with this data as it moves from sensor to sensor.
