The giant project undertaken by Facite Foundation is to build a power plant or solar power plant which will later be used to produce electricity which will specifically be distributed to run the process of digital assets at the center which is also managed by the foundation. However, the project is not the only project Facite has to do. There are still other projects that they must run immediately after the completion of the construction of the power plant and have carried out operations stably. Another project is the bus card. The transportation system in the State of Kazakhstan will be slowly addressed to further improve the standard of living of its inhabitants. The procurement of this bus card is one of the projects to be carried out with a source of capital derived from the benefits obtained from the procurement of solar power plants and large-scale activities. These activities will result in multiple financial benefits where some of the allocations will be directed to start the bus card usage system. This card procurement project will be carried out by the Facite Foundation in collaboration with INNOB CO., Ltd. as one of the project partners. This collaboration was agreed through the signing of a contract that was held on September 21, 2018 ago. The initial investment costs have been set at 12.7 billion KRW which includes the cost of building a system of 11 billion KRW and initial operating costs and other costs of 1.7 billion KRW.
This project will be implemented first in the city of Shimkent, Kazakhstan. The city was chosen because the project to procure solar power plants took place there so the government would focus more first on developing the city. That way, this will further support the development of this project and further enhance the confidence of investors to invest in the city. The procurement of a bus card system will further improve the progress of this city where they have advanced the technology more in front of other cities. This card is planned to be used also to pay for other types of transportation services such as taxis, subways and toll fees. Even the use of this card is also planned to be applied in retail purchases and for online purchases. The wider benefits of this card will make it easier for the owner to pay for every need using only a card. This card has a function similar to a credit or debit card but the difference is that this card is not issued by any banking company and is not affected by the interests of any bank type.
