Enigmatic Evening
Ok, I liked that last one a lot. But I wanted to make it better. Lighting, not so flat, more character, more color. A real separation between the indoor and outdoor lighting. Push it all the way, bloom, atmospherics.
Well, since I was going to have to go back anyway and render separate passes to get the volume lights, I figured I may as well render a separate pass for each light. And while I was at it I added in the render elements. Separate GI, direct only, clipping colors, lots of adjustment curves. A veritable Dagwood sandwich of photoshop layers. I like it. It kind of puts me in the mood like it could be a scene from "The Corpse Bride." Yeah, I’m glad I did this. I like it a lot. Yeah.
Advanced Critiques encouraged. compare with the same scene with different settings, just prior to this in my stream.
