In today’s episode of Your Simplified Coin Review we look at Decred. Decred is a digital cryptocurrency that is meant to be exchanged for value similarly to bitcoin. Also, just like bitcoin, it has a Max Supply of 21 Million Coins. One very cool thing about Decred is that it is extremely community driven. They have a hybrid system of Proof of Stake & Proof of Work to make sure that every part of their community has a say in the development of the coin. Right now, DCR is coming in at number 35 on Coin Market Cap. They have a strong team, good marketing, & good social media presence. However, they do face quite a challenge to become the preferred cryptocurrency of choice as there are many other digital currencies ahead of them.
