If you scroll around the collectibles feed a little bit you’ll see that items that get the most activity tend to be the most unique. People get excited about collectibles when the scarcity is meaningful, and that happens when the collectible is something you can’t find anywhere else.
Some collectibles people on Editional love:
- original art
- unique photographs
- creative series
Some collectibles people on Editional don’t like:
- pictures of your
- copy/pasted well known images
- selfies
Pick Your Edition Count & Make Your Edits
After picking an image from your photo library or snapping a shot with the in-app camera, there are a few more actions you can take before minting your collectibles.
Edition Count
When you create a collectible on Editional, the first edition is always given to you, the creator. The rest of the editions become available for others to claim on a first come first served basis (your followers are notified when you create a new item so they can get to the creation quickly to claim it).
You can configure how many editions are created by clicking on the edition count in the upper left of the creation screen.
Image Filters & Edits
Clicking on the image in the final screen will bring up a series of filters and other editing tools you can use to get your creation just right.
Name Your Collectible
Don’t overthink it. Names can be short or long and descriptive. It’s up to you!
Create!
Clicking “CREATE” submits your collectible to be minted to the . You will instantly get a preview of your new collectible and in a few seconds (sometimes a little longer) you’ll get a notification telling you that your new collectible has been minted to the and your followers have been notified.
Your collectible will also show up on feed for all Editional users!

Don’t forget to engage with your new owners in the comments section of your collectibles!
