Cent, the income generating Crypto Social Media Platform

So I have been on Cent for a few months now, and I have to say, it is a great, community focused, social website. That alone would make it great! What is more impressive is that it is built around generating income for it’s users.

Cent rewards its active members through donations, seeds and bounties. Cent runs on Ethereum(ETH), a well established cryptocurrency. You can see who is making the most out of their platform through the leaderboard. The leaderbard shows the highest earners in the past 30 days. It is a major part of the appeal of Cent.

In terms of design, it mirrors Twitter, but it also has a lot of features of Facebook, and content worthy of being on Reddit. Topics covered there are very diverse and if it doesn’t exist, you can always create it. The most recent community that is growing on cent is Parkour and Free running. Topics are based on channels that start with hashtags(#) so you can follow what you like.

Cent supports all things crypto and is very focused on user creativity. So go out there and show us what you have to offer! We have many users who do music, podcasts, and live streams. We also have a budding NFT creator community which I am a part of. All forms of art and creativity can be found on Cent. It is very easy to earn on Cent.

So, what do I have to do?

Earning money on Cent is as easy as replying to a post. Posts reward the best replies through bounties. A lot of crypto companies use this to gather feedback on their product/service.

Bounties, what does that mean?

Bounties are money set aside on a post to reward thoughtful replies. Bounties expire after a set time which can be seen on the post, after which it will be paid out. You can make bounties on your own posts as well.

But, what should I post?

Start with an introduction. Use the channel #intruduction or #introducemyself to easily gain traction on your post. What kind of topics are you interested in? Share your other social links as well! Based on the response to your first post, you’ll know what your next post will be! You earn from posting through others seeding your post.

Seeding? What is that?

Seeding can be seen as tipping a post, but with more function. When you seed a post, the author gets a portion of it, if someone seeded before you, they get a portion, and if someone seeds after you, you get a portion of their seed. And don’t forget to sort for eth!

After all of the posting and replying has been done, its time to sort the replies so that the bounty can be collected. Sorting ensures only the best replies are chosen and persons can earn a small amount of eth for doing so. You can find posts that need to be sorted in the sort tab, on the middle bar of the page.
