Africa’s leading and conference organisers since 2015
Events was founded by Sonya Kuhnel and Theo Sauls in 2014. They are both early adopters of and are extremely passionate about the future of and technology. Sonya and Theo saw a need to educate and inform people about the opportunities offered by digital currencies and technology. In 2015, Events started the Africa Conferences to address this need.
Events is the 1st events company to host world-class and conferences in Africa. To date, we’ve hosted five highly successful and sold-out conferences in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and have attracted big names such as Vinny Lingham (well-known South African entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Gyft and Civic in the US), Brock Pierce (Founder of Block Capital and early adopter of in the US), Andreas M. Antonopoulos (author of several and books, security expert and early adopter of in the US), William Frentzen (Federal Prosecutor with the US Attorney’s Office) and Stefan Thomas (CTO of in the US).
