Blockchain and Environment Hackathon

Blockchain and Environment Hackathon
ISEP (French engineering graduate school in digital technology) in partnership with UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) and GarageISEP (Student Innovation Hub) will organize a Hackathon to bring together motivated people to solve environmental issues by using Blockchain technology.    Two major challenges will be proposed to the participants: How to track if consumers change their purchasing behaviour due to products’ sustainability information? How to increase the number of backers of a crowdfunding project of electrification of rural communities, improve the trust in the funding process, and reduce intermediary fees from donation to implementation? FAQs What is a hackathon?  "A hackathon (also known as a hack day, hackfest or codefest) is a design sprint-like event in which computer programmers and others involved in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, and others, often including subject-matter-experts, collaborate intensively on software projects.[1] The goal of a hackathon is to create usable software or hardware with the goal of creating a functioning product by the end of the event.[2] Hackathons tend to have a specific focus, which can include the programming language used, the operating system, an application, an API, or the subject and the demographic group of the programmers. In other cases, there is no restriction on the type of software being created." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackathon  Who can attend?
