Are dead altcoins going to start forking and re-branding themselves with the bitcoin name? Bspread says they are about to do this. If this actually happens and it is successful we could see a lot of copycats. This is a pure marketing move that leverages the strong bitcoin brand. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. It is yet another reminder of the strength and value of the bitcoin brand. There is only one bitcoin and many entities want a piece of that pie so they can have a base of value for their product.
