The cryptocurrency market appeared to stagnate over the past few days, and the minimal rise and fall in the token’s price caused big shifts in the market. Tron [TRX,] which gained the ninth position fell and went back to the tenth position, while Binance Coin [BNB] rested on the ninth step of the top 10 list. However, Basic Attention Token [BAT] rode the bull for the past few weeks as the token’s adoption rose.
At press time, BAT was valued at $0.1817 with a market cap of $225 million. The coin noted a 24-hour trading volume of $20 million with a growth of 11.57% over the past 24 hours. BAT observed a massive rise by 32.85% over the past seven days and continued climbing up the ladder by 3.36% in the 1-hour timeframe.
The coin was highly traded on Binance as it registered a volume of $5 million with the BAT/BTC pair. The second exchange to note a high trading volume was UPbit with $4 million trading volume on BAT/KRW pair, followed by Bithumb. Bithumb noted a volume of $2 million with the BAT/KRW pair.
Recently, TAP Network, a blockchain-based advertising and data platform, partnered with Brave Browser, an open source website browser based on Chrome. This was an important partnership for Brave and its token, Basic Attention Token [BAT], as it allows users to redeem the tokens across 250,000+ brand partners in the TAP Network ecosystem.
Users holding the token can redeem it for rewards which can later be used in exchange for goods and services, thereby enhancing the adoption of the browser, BAT and other cryptocurrencies.
The partnership is said to be “the first to integrate token utility redemption through the Brave browser as part of its global private ad platform.”

“The implication of this partnership: Once this is live, you will earn BAT by browsing the web using the Brave browser, and you will pay your hotel room, train ticket or restaurant bill from the TAP network with the BAT acquired by your web browsing activities. That’s like the /r/beermoney dream”
