Join us! This coming December 1st & 2nd, we welcome to join our upcoming cohort for a hands-on workshop where you will solve deep learning problems from beginning-to-end. This is a 12-hour Advanced Bootcamp [9:00 am – 4:00 pm] spread over two days. Why Should You Learn Deep Learning? If you want to break into cutting-edge AI, this course will help you do so. Deep learning engineers are highly sought after, and mastering deep learning will give you numerous new career opportunities. Deep learning is also a new "superpower" that will let you build AI systems that just weren't possible a few years ago. Neural Networks has shown its power in Image Recognition, Character Recognition, Forecasting and many other areas where predictions can be made with a much higher accuracy than others. So the next four sessions aim at delving you deeper into the world of Deep Learning. You will know about Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Convolution Neural Networks (CNN) and have hands-on experience in building an ANN and CNN. Agenda- Sessions Breakdown. Session 1: Introduction to Recurrent neural network and LSTM Session 2: Project in LSTM Session 3: Autoencoders – Unsupervised Deep Learning Session 4: GANs – Generate images Capstone Project – Three Months We will meet twice a week, in a team structure. Overview The purpose of the project is meant to showcase your Machine learning and Deep learning skills in a context that companies are familiar with (i.e. using web data, instead of, say, experimental data) while forcing you to learn the technical skills and technologies that are standard in industry, but that you may not have been exposed to. We will be using a live dataset with a problem and user in mind who will be using it. Showcase these skills: Machine & Deep Learning: Learn industry best practices for doing basic and advanced machine/deep learning and statistical analysis of large datasets. Tools you may learn: NumPy & SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, R. Storing and Retrieving Data: How to clean data, store it in the appropriate database or distributed data storage system and then run queries to retrieve the information needed for analysis. Tools you may learn: MySQL, Hadoop, Hive. Visualizing and Communicating Results: Learn how to effectively communicate your findings visually and verbally. Tools you may learn: D3, Javascript library, visualization and presentation best practices. Software Engineering Best Practices: Learn how to contribute to a large code-base and instrument a web application to collect data. Tools you may learn: Python, Git, Flask, Javascript. Throughout Insight, there are no grades or other arbitrary proxies used to evaluate your work. Instead, your capstone project will serve as your “professional portfolio,” which you will be able to show to potential employers in order to demonstrate your understanding and proficiency in the subjects tackled. Meet twice a week, in a team structure. Who Can Attend? People who have attended the Basics – Machine Learning 101 or has prior knowledge of Machine Learning (Python is preferred, but any programming background is fine). Who's Teaching? For the last 25 years, Venkatesh has been working in various domains and various technologies with DATA as a common theme. Starting with Data Warehouses, proceeding on to Data Mining, Business Intelligence and now Machine Learning, Deep Learning & AI. He successfully co-founded and exited a couple of startups so far. One of which is of Business Intelligence for Enterprises and the other is an Insurance sector product. Currently, he is invested in a few startups in the ML area and also sits on the boards of a few more. Venkatesh has a Masters in Computers Science and an MBA. He brings his formal education and experience, combined with his passion for DATA to develop Predictive Analytics capabilities to his enterprise clients in pharmaceutical and insurance verticals. Venkatesh in his spare time also follows his passion for teaching by conducting workshops in Machine Learning where he coaches aspiring students in the joy of DATA.
