As part of our continuous work to broaden perspectives and inclusivity within the ecosystem, we came up with the idea for the . This idea is very simple: submit portraits of the people involved in building and growing the ecosystem. The portraits can be anything from photos full of filters to oil paintings or GIFs.
Our aim is to collect, capture, and create a gallery featuring the portaits of all the people participating in our ecosystem. One of the main things we’ve realized while expanding the use of bounties to non tech verticals is that anyone can #BUIDL. It’s developers and designers, project managers, artists, musicians, students, environmental activists or people who may be going through homelessness right now.
Since launching the project at in collaboration with , we’ve had 17 submissions and we want to continue receiving as many artworks as possible. We’d like the project to become a constant throughout 2019 so that at the end of the year a giant image made up of all the unique portraits collected can be unveiled and sold at auction — potentially at DevconV.
The plan is to take the funds from the auction and reserve 10% for social impact bounties and distribute the rest amongst all the people who submitted portraits to the project.

To collect and display all artworks, we were joined by in creating the Faces of gallery. To celebrate their launch to Mainnet last month, we are tokenising all works and adding them to the gallery.

The best “Faces of ” submissions will be tokenized as one of a kind NFT collectibles that can be bought, sold and traded by collectors. Once each piece is tokenized it will be sent to the original artist/creator’s giving them ownership of the asset and the ability to set the list price.
