A decentralized social platform where you can post without the censorship that is looming in most community forums. Reddit recently accepted millions from a Chinese company many users are afraid that censorship will increase more than it already does. 4chan bans users from trying to come up with topics example P3D/Fomo3D users banned from posting just for trying to have a discussion about their topics. There comes a point when enough is enough censorship is going to continue and we’re going to need a new censorship free decentralized platform. That’s where 0xchan will shine being developed by Team Just dev Sumpunk and P3x dev Aritz the two are taking up a monumental task. One that will be vital to our choice of anonymity and freedom of speech when it comes to the internet.
0xchan a Safe Haven for Conversations
A place where you’re allowed to talk about anything you want not being ruled over by power hungry mods. Time and time again there has been many websites where mods or the very website admins will censor users that do not agree with them. Take for example r/ on attempt to talk about any coins that they do not actively support and enjoy your ban or deleted post. 0xchan will be a place where you will not have to deal with these problems. Start your own communities based on your interests or find a new group of people that fits you. Having conversations with people who may bring up new ideas not having to be scared of being censored. While there will be times people spam or are disruptive to your community 0xchan has ways of preventing this. As a decentralized platform the decisions on who is disruptive or spamming is on the users.
Spamming, Disruptiveness?
0xchan users will have the ability to report certain messages they find disrupting, disturbing, or just a user spamming. The message will be flagged and the next action is to randomly choose 21 users the first 11 to respond will be used to come up with the verdict. If found guilty the message will be hidden and the voters will be granted 10 ZCH 0xchans which can be used to post messages. The main way to stop spammers is having users stake 0.5 eth to be able to post while also having a small fee for each post 0.0001 Eth. These two requirements will stop some spamming and where these two fails the flagging of posts will help out. The next thing that deters users from spamming or being disruptive is the chance they might lose their stakes if they continue to be disruptive. This will all be decentralized so there will be no power hungry mods everything on 0xchan will be there decided by the community.
ZCH Use and Incentive
ZCH will be the used on oxchan. The 0.0001 Eth can be paid with eth or with ZCH. 80% of this fee is distributed among all ZCH holders, 15% will be used to buy P3D, last 5% will stay in the contract to settle expenses. As we can see there will be an incentive to hold ZCH how much you can make will be dependent on how active the platform is. Some may think they’ll come out rich but nothing is guaranteed if anything holding the ZCH will give you enough dividends to continue posting which is what 0xchan is about your ability to post.
0xchan Release, Crowdfunding Results
Certainly the release of 0xchan can’t come soon enough but the devs do have a huge challenge on their plate. There will be 4 phases to the release of 0xchan currently on phase 1. Phase 1 consisted of a crowdfunding phase which 241.6555 eth was raised across 127 unique users. The amount is a little more than 10% that was intended to be raised but the devs are excited plus committed to the project and have vowed to finish it. Phase 4 is expected to be release and is approximately scheduled for the 4th quarter of the year.
