The Gnostic Gospels were found in Egypt in 1945 and the Dead Sea Scrolls were found at the end of the 1800s. These are the Gospels of the Disciples of Jesus Christ which are not in the Bible. They represent an amplified vision of Christianity and its interrelation with all religions.
Gnostic Anthropology is not the same as that taught in universities which concentrate on “archeology” (doing excavations) ignoring other important fundamental aspects of the “the study of man.”
Anthropology means [Anthropos-Man, and Logos=Study, or the study of man] The four columns of Gnostic Anthropology are: (1) Science, (2) Philosophy, (3) Art, and (4) Comparative Religions, or the study of mysticism.
In this lecture Mr. E. Jim G. Ross gives us the introduction to Gnostic teachings. It is our intention to give you a series of lectures which will bring you to a full understanding of the teachings of Samael Aun Weor.
