I have some questions regarding how electrum-ltc works:
I do not understand how the app reserves your public key (address) on the blockchain using only the seed phrase. Is there not a chance that the address (pub key) is already taken? Does the app first connect online to the blockchain to get check if the address is still open and then generates seed phrases to match? I don't get this. What are the chances of another provider taking the same pubkey/address first? Where does the private keys come from that electrum pairs with an address? Is it generated by the blockchain or something? Lets say you loose everything and all you have left is your seed phrase and you want to recover control of your LTC blockchain address. Will the program use this seed phrase, send it through some algorithms to then generate an ouput that conists of your public and private key pairs?
